IGH WA and WH Heavy Duty Pump
W Series metal and polymer slurry handling pumps are designed for heavy-duty applications. They can handle highly abrasive, high-density and corrosive slurries.
Wear parts have been improved with greater thicknesses in critical sections and the impeller has a design that reduces recirculation and extends the life of all components. A variety of polymers are available, as well as metal alloys to satisfy a wide range of applications.
MAIN Features:
- Robust design for heavy duty use.
- The casing is made of ductile iron and offers excellent mechanical resistance for a long life.
- Liners made of different polymers and metal alloys are offered with thicker thicknesses for improved resistance to abrasion and corrosion, prolonging the useful life of the product.
- There are different seal options.
Applications:
- High head applications.
- Heavy duty applications with corrosive and abrasive fluids.
- Multi-stage high pressure operation up to 750 psi
Packing Seal.
It is the most common seal option, it uses clean water flushing into the stuffing box and through a lantern restrictor. It is a low cost option and easy to maintain where dynamic seal is not suitable.
Dynamic Expeller Seal.
The expeller generates an inverse centrifugal force to prevent leakage. In most of its applications, no water flushing is needed.
